CORE OF HIS IDENTITY
Luke Poole, 34, of Christchurch, has come forward to confirm that Lynx Africa, the iconic body spray of teenage bedrooms still packs enough punch to “get the job done.”
Poole first used the timeless deodorant as a 13 year-old in 2003 and despite being into his thirties now, he says it’s basically impossible to go wrong.
“Look, it’s affordable, it’s effective, and it’s got history,” Poole explained, clutching his slightly rusted can of Lynx Africa with the loyalty of a man who had never seriously considered any other option.
“Why would I spend forty bucks on a fancy cologne when this beauty’s sitting right there on the supermarket shelf?”
Luke’s girlfriend Sophie had a mixed reaction to her boyfriend using something teens in their first year of highschool use.
“I swear, the second I smell that stuff, I’m right back in my early school days,” sighed Sophie, rolling her eyes. “It’s like being 14 again and sneaking into the boys’ locker room. I’ve tried to get him to switch, but he says anything else just ‘isn’t him. Maybe he’s right.’
More to come.
