Keegan Bradley, 31, is asking his mates to please calm down about the Warriors’ position on the NRL ladder — despite a gutsy third-straight win that’s seen the club surge into the second place spot.

“Yes, they won. Yes, it was brave. But we’ve seen this movie before, haven’t we?” Keegan said, pacing around his living room after the Warriors nail biting 30-26 win in Brisbane last night.

The Warriors were at one point up 30-12 before doing everything in their power to blow it, scoring only a penalty goal in the second half, as the Cowboys came roaring back into the game.

“I mean, how do you almost lose after being up by 18 points? That takes real commitment.”

While many fans were quick to label the Warriors a “serious premiership threat” and many fans now boldly claiming again it’s “our year”. Bradley wasn’t so sure.

“How many seasons have we had where we start hot and finish 11th, with a points differential of minus 94?”

“I’m not saying I’m not happy — I’m happy. But I feel like I’m waiting for the inevitable. Geez there’s such a long way to go.”

More to come.
