NEW KID IN TOWN
25-year-old Sophie Ballagh has officially announced her switch in affections from All Blacks heartthrob Beauden Barrett to the rising star of the Hurricanes, Ruben Love.
Ballagh confessed to our reporters that her crush on Barrett had been a steadfast fixture in her life since the tender age of 15. But a decade after being in love with Beauden, she has set her sights on a new object of affection: Ruben Love.
“I don’t think I’ve ever had a crush on a man with ginger-like hair, but man those thighs of his! And how good has he been for the Canes lately?” Sophie outlined, while scrolling on Ruben’s Instagram.
It seems Barrett’s relocation to Japan to ply his trade in the Top League has left a vacuum in the hearts of many female fans, including Sophie’s.
“Beauden will always hold a special place in my heart, but let’s face it, he’s in Japan and also happily married with children. Ruben, on the other hand, is like a fresh bouquet of flowers, just waiting to bloom right here in New Zealand.”
“He’s got this raw energy and he seems to be getting better and better – surely Razor will pick him in his All Blacks team right?”
Sophie was disappointed to find out that the Hurricanes have a bye this weekend.
More to come.
